Since 1975, La Scala Autographs has been a leader in the field of antiquarian music and theater collectibles, specializing in opera and classical music autographs. Since then, we’ve served countless collectors and institutions. We’ve bought, appraised and sold thousands of rare pieces and collections of historical importance. We’ve written books and articles on opera, classical music, theatre, ballet, and film, including co-authoring the classic Film Autographs 1894-1941. We’ve advised collectors, auction houses, institutions, and estates on values and authenticity. For more than twenty-five years we’ve consulted with New York’s Metropolitan Opera Guild and Opera Shop, and have curated numerous exhibitions at the Gallery at Lincoln Center. We’re a founding member of the Professional Autograph Dealers’ Assn., and long-time members of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Assn. of America, and the International League of International Booksellers.
